Client Service Operations Associate

Browne, Draper and Land Financial Concepts (bdlfc.com) is a growing financial services firm located in downtown Dalton, GA in a recently renovated historic building near the Dalton Depot. We are seeking a full time Client Service Operations Associate. You will work closely with our Advisory Team and will be a crucial part of the client experience.

As a member of the Client Services Team, the CSOA is responsible for processing client requests, preparing reports, responding to client inquires, and other tasks as needed to support the Advisory Team. In addition, the CSOA is responsible for various administrative office duties including filing and assisting with phones as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver superior client service—troubleshoot problems, organize meetings; serve as liaison between Advisor and client as needed
  • Documenting client communications in our Client Relationship Management (CRM) System, Pareto, and creating reports
  • Account paperwork, opening, closing and transferring accounts, etc.
  • Assist clients with moving money
  • Prepare client quarterly performance reports, tax reports and others as needed
  • Update Client Financial Data
  • Assist with answering the phones when needed
  • Assist with the mailing of various reports and marketing materials
  • Assist Advisors in finalizing and distributing client financial plans
  • Assist Advisory Staff with preparation of client correspondence, back up documentation and follow up
  • Perform other duties, that may be assigned, when required by the organization

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in a financial-related area
  • 1-3 years experience in an office environment
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent communication skills – on the phone and in writing
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite
  • VERY well organized and detail-oriented
  • Team player, collaborative, and able to work well with teams
  • Desire to learn, grow, and advance within the organization.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary for this position will be based on experience, especially directly relevant experience. We offer a 401(k), 5 paid vacation days/year after the first 90 days, and 10 paid vacation days/year after the first year. There is also room for growth in this position for more managerial and operational responsibilities for the right person.

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute phone interview conducted by our consultant (who is the hiring manager for this position). If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take at lease one assessment, possibly more. A background will be required.
